“No audition necessary !” I was looking for a fun evening activity away from my busy job in the NHS and family responsibilities and the advert caught my eye. I’d always enjoyed singing in school and the odd occasion in church but had never been a choir member so I plucked up the courage and went along: - “soprano or alto?” - “ not sure “- “ try in with the sopranos then” !So glad I gave it a go, I found a wide group of friendly folk and am still an enthusiastic ( soprano)choir member over 20 years later. I help out on the committee with organising events. Now I’m retired, I also enjoy learning Italian , reading, walking and travelling.
