Happy New Year

Have you made a 2023 resolution to do more choral singing? If so, The Inverurie Choral Society invites you to our Faure Requiem Come and Sing Day on Saturday 18th March at the Acorn Centre in Inverurie. Learn the choruses during the day and perform for friends, families, neighbours and our local community. Faith Ockwell wielding the baton and Matthew McVey on the organ. Cost is £17 (£10 for Full Time Students) which includes The Faure Requiem SATA Music Score.

Singing for The Ukraine

Inverurie Choral Society has been invited to do a 10/15 minute spot at the Inverurie Charity Concert for Ukraine, organised by Rotary. It’ll be 7pm on Monday 30 January 2023 at the new Academy Community Campus here in the town. We’ll sing provisionally some Scottish numbers, our Ukrainian “Willow board” and another that Faith has ready for us + of course our Keep you in peace. Full info in time for our restart Wed 11 Jan’ 23. Looking forward to our new members coming on board for this.
