Inverurie Choral Society are a choir of about 30 mixed voices comprising sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. You can read more about the music we sing here. We are led in our singing by our musical Director, James G.R. Campbell.
Our Rehearsals
From August through to the following June we rehearse in the Old Chapel at St Andrew’s Church in Inverurie on Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
Our Concerts
The highlights of our year are the two evening concerts every year – our summer concert in June, and the Christmas concert in December, where we enjoy singing to the audiences which gather to hear us.
You’ll find details of our next concert on our What’s On page.
Come and Sings
We also take great pleasure in hosting our popular Come & Sing days where we invite other singers from near and far to come together and join us for the day to sing well known choral works.
At the end of the day, we perform a sing through, for which friends, family members and members of the public are welcome to come and listen.
Keep an eye on our What’s On page for details of the next Come and Sing.
Sing Outs
Throughout the year, we go out and perform short programmes in community settings such as care homes and supported living accommodation. These events are always appreciated by the small audiences and are very rewarding for our singers.
Do get in touch if you would like to invite us to ‘sing out’ in your venue or to your group.
